We used these drill bits to drill holes in a concrete wall for faucets. We had to drive in about 5000 screws using 75 bits. The bits broke after drilling 5 to 30 holes. We do this kind of work all the time so this wasn't our first rodeo. To be honest we tried Milwaukee, Bosch and Masterforce with the same result. The bits appear to be too long and will flex under the impact drill bit and snap. Tried multiple drills and multiple operators with the same result. Never understood what was wrong

Had several hundred Holes to drill very hard concrete, bought 3 DeWalt bits and 3 Bosch bits, decided to find out which one was better, the first DeWalt bit fired after 5 holes, the second DeWalt bit fired after about ten holes, the 3. Bit stopped all 20 holes before snapping. Each of the Bosch bits drilled over 200 holes. If you want good beats, stay away from DeWalt beats.

This Dewalt SDS+ chisel is well made for the price. The chisel has an overall length of 4" and a usable length of 2" which is just right for the 1-1/4" long, 3/16" diameter Tapcon anchors I use it on. Smaller diameter SDS+ bits like this one don't typically last as long as larger diameter bits, so keep a few on hand for any significant amount of work.
