It has features on the shaft.

Please note this is for Dewalt tools. I had to cut off a portion to use in a standard hole punch. This worked better than other stone bits I've used.

Pros
  • Drill Bit
Cons
  • You could choose a newer model

decent performance but expect more from dewalt

2 holes drilled in a concrete slab. 2 bits are blunted. It's really hard concrete, but it had to be better. Unfortunately it was 2 holes more than some of the other bits!

Pros
  • hammer drill bit
Cons
  • not sure

Works like a breeze

I bought this DeWalt and a similarly inexpensive Bosch bit to drive wedge bolts into concrete to fasten guardrail flanges. I got started and noticed how much better the DeWalt performs than the Bosch when I swapped out the bits when the wear mark on the DeWalt started to disappear (about 50 holes and the feature is missing on the Bosch) and found that the Brand new Bosch didn't work as well as a worn out DeWalt that I just replaced. Note: It is designed for SDS/SDS Plus (but not SDS Max) in…

Pros
  • Masonry Bit
Cons
  • So far so good
