Exactly the same as the two that came with my miter saw stand (5ft long). I placed it between the saw and the extension to use as an intermediate support or as a stop for consistently straight cuts.

This is excellent material support and stop. The emphasis slips slightly to the side. All settings are easy and stick. Support / stop mounting. Horizontal positioning sliders that can be adjusted for the degree of damping. When a precise, repeatable length stop is required, tighten the two flexible nuts. and squareness checked.

I bought an extra set to permanently attach to the ends of the fixed part of my miter saw stand. Now I have 4 of these on the stand including two on retractable rails. This provides much needed support and reduces the number of slide bar adjustments I have to make when I need to cut different lengths of scrap. The only complaint I have is the slightly high price, but they are worth it.

Was disappointed to learn that Dewalt has discontinued the matching table. I've owned a mine for nearly a decade, and as a siding contractor in the rainy, muddy Northwest, life hasn't been easy for my stand. has a Dewalt 708 Sliding Mitter & Stand that comes with these stops. Purchasing 2 additional fences allows the work to be supported throughout its length and I can make repeated cuts of different lengths without moving the fences. Raising the stop and converting the brace into a stop for an accurate repeat cut is very easy. When I bought the stand from Home Depot, the number of extra supports was different. After removing one from the end cap and realizing it would fit the rail, I immediately ordered two of these. I cut many different lengths and it becomes difficult to cut an inch of lumber from a 2 x 12 if 3 feet is not supported.
