Not worth the money for power and hand tools

This tool is rubbish. New vacuum cleaner and filter installed. Not well designed. Cutting dust does not pass through the outlet efficiently or effectively. Will most likely return it!

Not as good as the best power tools

I also have a grinding wheel dust cover which gives exceptional dust collection. This hood does not hold dust as well as the mug hood. Also does not fit most Dewalt coffee grinders. Since I have several grinders, I had to redo the fan connector on one to make it fit. The guard needs a spring-loaded socket on the back to collect dust more efficiently. For the price I expected more.

GREAT! in grinders

I bought this to remove a concrete block from a basement wall to install an exit window. I used a Dewalt diamond grinder, a Dewalt HEPA vacuum and this cover. It did a fantastic job! Although I still used plastic for the curtain and a fan, the homeowner was very happy with the extra protection I got with this mount. As long as the shroud was pressed against the block, I could barely see the dust. I would recommend this tool to any contractor looking to get rid of dust on renovation projects. I…
