I'd rather give 4.5 stars because it doesn't have a lock in the middle - how hard is that to add? - but well done. I added the missing groove with a grinder and file (I don't have a lathe) hence 5 stars now.

I bought this tool to avoid weighing the ratchet in the boat chest (for changing plugs etc.). The retractable handle has no lock; but it slides on some kind of friction device, like a ball and spring. That way it stays in place when you want to rotate the tool. could not have been better.

Walks, talks, crawls on his belly like a reptile. Wait a minute, I saw it at the circus. It is a beautiful instrument and appears to be very powerful. I don't think I'll ever be able to break it unless I do something stupid, like If not abused, it should last a long time. It will give me lifetime use.
