Satisfied. Best in Filler Caps

Got this on condition of a leaking cap and it matched other aftermarket parts on my d16y8 (97 Civic Ex). Looks good, threads are good. The socket fell off the cover but it's okay it came up again. You can see the matte finish. Would buy again.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Only available in Black

acura integra 2001 Ls 4-door B18 engine

I painted the valve cover and didn't want to put the old oil cap back on. I think I need something that goes with the rest of the theme I wanted so I bought a silver cap and it fits perfectly. I recommend this product, it's a small touch but it makes a difference!

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Not perfect but I like it

This cap fits well, looks good and is well made, but it's not perfect. What I mean is that the rubber seal is not very tight and therefore falls off easily. This wasn't a big issue for me though as I used RTV silicone to glue the gasket to the lid to keep it from falling off so this issue was easily fixed.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not bad

Great looks and feel

If this is my 2006 Honda Ridgeline it should be. Looks good, oil doesn't leak like stock. It gets a little warm so if you change the oil yourself make sure the engine is a little cool or use a towel. I especially like that it has ribs so you can actually unscrew the oil cap because they can be a bit difficult to unclip at times.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Very expensive

The price is good, small

Not bad considering there is a plastic cover in the parts store. But it looked a bit ridiculous on my H/F valve cover because it's so small in diameter and quite tall. I'll probably put it on the D series but the build quality is good and the anodizing seems solid, the rubber pad isn't the right size, it works but falls off easily, a bit of silicone sheeting might help.

Pros
  • hands-free
Cons
  • communication with the seller

Clean/Simple/Inexpensive

Plain and simple. While I love the Feels and Spoon oil caps, they beat them when it comes to price and still look good. This one is a good weight, the threads feel tight when interacting with the valve cover threads, there isn't excessive play. I had no trouble loosening the rubber seal as some other reviewers have pointed out. I personally ordered a raw finish so I can't comment on the quality/condition of the painted ones, but the raw finish was well prepared in my opinion. I wish they would…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No show
