🔋 Dewhel Racing Billet Battery Tie Down: Enhanced Performance for HONDA ACURA S2000 EG EK DC2 CIVIC (Red) Review

I bought a Bilter 96 Civic and the guy had the battery tied with a strong bungee. I bought this and some J-Bolts and made them less sketchy. Works great with Group 51 batteries for my Honda.

After 2 years it is discharged from the battery itself. I don't know if the manufacturer's fault is with the anodizing or something. I have to replace it. It worked well and looked fine before it rusted.

My S2000 has a rusty old battery mount, costs almost as much as a replacement but looks way cooler. no not a pipe dream. Perfect fit, beautiful appearance, keeps the battery. Expect buffs in the 5-10 HP range.

Great fit. I use standard O'reilly auto parts J-hooks and wing nuts, but I think regular old hex nuts work best for this bracket. The wing nuts had a very minor firewall interference issue, but that wasn't a deal breaker.

Nice bracket. The little foam washers are junk, don't use them to tighten. And the nuts are difficult to tighten because of the notch in the bracket. I used some plastic spacers for the nuts and this works better. They should have provided spacers to begin with, not those junk Styrofoam washers.

I think it's a good deal for ten bucks. The anodizing is rubbish, no sanding was done (surface is mostly end mill marks) and the back is razor sharp on some edges (and has a few burrs). It's mostly junk, but (a) it's mostly free and (b) it mostly works. As long as you expect "good for the money" and not just "good", you should be pretty much happy with that.
