Made this purchase to install a tool box (better built) on a Toyota Tacoma 07 as (better built universal no-drill kit) was not compatible with the system bed rails Toyota 05-11. The J hooks worked great, hooking into the railing system through the existing holes in the tool box and securely attaching the tool box to the truck with no drilling required.

I bought a UWS tool box for my truck. The included J-hooks came loose after just a week. I'm not happy they didn't hold my $560 box. These hooks solved the problem. They stayed taut after hours of riding on and off rough dirt roads. I recommend using them to protect your toolbox investment. These hooks cover more surface area for a more secure fit and are thicker bolts than the included J hooks. It costs $10 total.

Love these. My tool box only had 2 J hooks even though there were 4 mounting holes. It also reduces the extra length of the J-hook bolt protruding into the toolbox, now you only see the head of the bolt. A wider connection of anodized blocks better distributes the load on the frame. The build quality is excellent. The screws are good, the blocks are well machined, no burrs and the screws thread well into the blocks.
