Works perfectly. good for computer cable adapter

Good for connecting the SO-239 end of an MPD digital cable from my BF-F8HP to my MFJ-874 and also connecting the same radio to my 2m slim home antenna Jim. They are made of (nickel plated?) brass and depending on the thickness of the plating should hold up to normal use very well.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Appearance

No measurable SWR with it in line, so 5 stars

Male to male coax adapter works fine. Allows to closely connect two stretches of cable with SO-239 sockets - UHF or, in my case, a coaxial switch with a lightning rod for radio amateurs. No measurable SWR included, hence 5 stars.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • No performance

Works fine for my needs.

The quality is good. I don't know if it can handle the power limit allowed, but for my <100 watts it suits my needs. I would buy more if I need them. I use it between two coax switches, a 2-way and a 4-way switch to switch three antennas in two ratios. This is better than a short coaxial patch cord with two PL-259.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Generally normal, but...

Male Nectar

Having never used these I immediately noticed a slight difficulty in keeping the inside from rotating when tightening the nut. This isn't as much of a problem with SO-259 connectors, which have a zigzag cut at the end, as there are plenty of places for the tabs to snap and the connector to be fully seated. The type that only has 2 or 4 slots requires you to hold the center piece and prevent it from moving while you tighten it. There is nothing to catch outside, everything is spinning there.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Neutral

Very good quality for computer cable adapters

These adapters are much better than the ones I got from HRO. Beautiful and weighty. It closes very tightly without breaking like most others I've tried. Pleasantly surprised!

Pros
  • Dream come true
Cons
  • Slightly torn

OK but plating and thread issues

Plating not conducting properly at higher frequency. The thread diameter is wrong, so tightening some mating connectors is a problem.

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Upgradeable

OK, but problems with coating and threads

Coating does not conduct properly at higher frequencies. The thread diameter is wrong, so tightening some mating connectors is a problem.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Adjusted weak
