Ideal for drilling sea glass

Great product. Ideal for drilling small holes in sea glass for jewelry or other crafts. Make sure you're drilling in a small amount of water. Start at the corner and then straighten it out once you've indented it. Only go halfway and then turn it over and start on the other side or the glass will break.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Agate/Jasper Drilling

I use these drill bits for drilling agate, jasper and softer stones. I've had good results with Beats. Follow the instructions printed on the package (a leaflet). You have to drill slowly and in the water. I use a dremel with a dremel drill press in a small pot of water covering the stone and a small vise (see photo). I probably go through 4 to 6 bricks (1/2" to 1" drill depth) with each drill, which is standard for me based on other drills I've used.

  • Decent performance
