I use these drill bits for drilling agate, jasper and softer stones. I've had good results with Beats. Follow the instructions printed on the package (a leaflet). You have to drill slowly and in the water. I use a dremel with a dremel drill press in a small pot of water covering the stone and a small vise (see photo). I probably go through 4 to 6 bricks (1/2" to 1" drill depth) with each drill, which is standard for me based on other drills I've used.
