I had a glazed ceramic pot with no drainage hole and used the largest of the three drill bits. I took my time and used a little splash of water every now and then to cool it down a bit. I didn't use tape or guide to start the hole like some other reviews suggested. The drill wanted to wander at first but just stabilized the drill and all went well. Drilling a hole with this drill took only a few minutes and our plant is happy with the now well-drained pot. I look forward to using all three bits
I was installing porcelain stoneware in a shower I was building and needed a way to cut a hole for the shower head bracket. I ordered this set and the 3/4" bit cut through the china much better than I expected. I used to pay $16 for a 1/8 inch diamond tip hollow core drill bit from a reputable rotary tool manufacturer. The manufacturer recommends oil as a coolant and lubricant. They said using water as an oil substitute would damage their rotary tool. I successfully drilled two holes in wine bottles with the oil they provided. I broke the next ten bottles.
