Granite countertop didn't stand a chance

Worked great. I installed a water filtration system and had to make a 1/2" hole for the faucet. I was a bit nervous at first, but everything went pretty smoothly. Method I used: I used plasticine (whatever I had), to make a ring where I wanted to cut to hold some water. Pour some water into the putty ring. I started at an angle to cut the groove and then smooth it. In order not to burn the bit, trimmed I for about 20 seconds, stopped to let the bit cool for 10 seconds, wiped away the dirty…

Best Value Around

I bought these inexpensive bits not expecting much from them. I had to drill two holes in the 3/4" quartz. I figured 5 would do. Well it only took 2, and even then it's really just because a piece of quartz got stuck in one of them and I did couldn't figure it out so I had to use the other one.The same bat could cut through both holes without missing a single step.I doubt they're as good as the $40 bits I see everywhere but they are also a fraction of the price and work flawlessly.By comparison

They work but you get what you pay for

I bought these for a plumbing project involving drilling porcelain stoneware and cement board in the bathroom. They worked well enough and cut a nice hole without too much trouble. The reason for the three stars is that although I was moving slowly and using a lot of water for the first three holes, the diamond wore out very quickly. Started a fourth hole in a hard to reach spot and the drill got stuck. It didn't break, it was bent badly, and I didn't try to pierce the incision with my muscles.
