💎 Diamond Antenna X30A: Premium Dualband 2m/70cm Base/Repeater Antenna - UHF Connector, 4.5' Tall Review

I have used this Diamond antenna in my attic for the past 3 years. I can reach repeaters 30 miles away with no problem. I also use it for digital communication without any problems. EXCELLENT ANTENNA.

This is an amazing dual band antenna. Reliable, quality construction with excellent performance. I keep getting reliable signal reports from contacts. A little pricey but I think it's worth it.

This is a great antenna for general ham radio applications on 2m and 70cm It doesn't have as much gain as the larger more expensive antennas but 3 watts is enough for me with a repeater in one Distance of 10 miles associated with complete silence. It is very well made and makes a solid impression. Reliable. In some other online stores, the price is lower.

Very well done. Radials were easy to insert and the antenna was light and easy to set up. The UHF connector has been grooved to properly mate with the PL-259. SWR < 1.5 at the low end of each 144MHz and 440MHz band and 1.1 in the middle of the band. IMHO it costs extra money compared to TRAM which has a similar antenna but a bad UHF connector (no grooves) so the PL-259 cannot be properly connected.

When looking for a broadband antenna, the term broadband is used broadly. I bought 2 antennas from other manufacturers this month. One of these was more expensive than the X30A.
