Don't buy if you're not a stripper. or want to be.

I've had this exact belt for 10 years and only replaced it because it looked too "used". After 3 months, one fine day, the metal pin that secures the belt broke off. in the public. Seems they've started making bolts out of cast iron or some other unsuitable but hopelessly cheap material. It's a shame the Dickies used to make solid workwear, but they seem to have succumbed to "Walmart's disease". I've been having other issues with her clothing lately and have come to the conclusion that it's…

I'm so glad I bought this belt! Perfect. It does everything it was designed to do. There is no exposed metal, you can tell that there is a metal plate sewn into the skin that contains a metal pin that sticks out towards you instead of a traditional buckle. On first donning it appears to be the exact opposite, as instead of allowing the extra strap length to run through the strap into the loop after fastening, in this case you slip the extra strap through the loop and then snip it if that makes…

Quality has dropped drastically

I have had unscratched Dickie belts before including this particular model. They were never the most durable, but for the price they were decent. However, the last belt I received is just rubbish. There are two glaring issues with what I received: 1. The bullet clasp it uses arrived broken. The ball post in this new design is not welded or epoxy bonded to the baseplate. It has been screwed in but the threads have been stripped and there is no protective sleeve on the bottom of the rack. This is

My 20 year old Dicky's belt broke so I had to buy a new one.

Wow, Dickie's makes the best belts. My Dickie belt broke after owning it for about 20 years and I knew I had to keep the same brand. Went to local stores that sold them but couldn't find the right size. I refused to buy anything other than Dickey even though they had Wranglers etc on the shelf. While searching for a new Revain belt I came across these "Mechanic" belts which I didn't know existed. With my previous belt, the buckle always rubbed in certain situations. It sounded like the perfect…

Not very durable - Accessory

I have to wear a belt without a buckle because I'm allergic to metal. I've been using them for at least 20 years. I'm for quality, not fashion. I work a lot with my hands and carry heavy things around my waist, so I rely on something well designed. My previous belt was a hook type (double inward curved hooks). It lasted so long I could only get it off because the skin was almost completely torn. I couldn't find it anymore so I'll take this one (Dickies). After wearing it for almost a year I am…
