Does the job! - Abrasives and Finishes

This material along with other polishing steps provides professional results! Yes, it's a dirty job! Install the grinder outside on the stand and this is not a problem. Put on some old clothes or a shop apron and goggles, a little prep time and you'll be polishing like a pro!

Red Dye From Hell on Finishing Compounds

Used to polish a pair of knife handles. Red dye sticks to EVERYTHING. It cannot be used on wood or even semi-porous materials such as micarta as the red dye will penetrate into it and will NOT come out. It took me 6 rag changes to wipe MOST of it off the floor in my shop and the rags were still red. It's like a fine, sticky red dust that you can't see on the surface, but it still transfers to other surfaces and discolors. I had to throw away the polishing paste and buy a new polishing pad…
