I wanted to put a traffic light in my laundry room but the original outlet was too close to the ceiling and was facing away. This makes my motion light very difficult to use as it doesn't work and the motion sensor is struggling to work. I found this product and found that it works much better when I slide it out of its original base and rotate it down to change the position of the base. I like that. The only thing is when I try to move the outlet extender it separates from the original outlet.
