Nice little set and pretty good price. Comes with a good set of cables including a digital optical cable and its kits. The reason I bought this item was because I had a TV hooked up to an amplifier that didn't have a remote control and I thought this would be a good alternative. To be honest it was and works pretty well. This way I can set my amp to a specific level and use this kit/remote to change the volume. The reason for the four stars is that the volume control isn't, and doesn't seem…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Finally a cheap one that sounds good

Given my previous luck with a cheap DAC for my Smart TV, this one is good. Sounds surprisingly decent given the price, and the remote is a welcome replacement for alternatives I've bought in the past. It has a mute button for commercial nonsense, and the Toslink channel sounds better than its modest price. Toslink works pretty well with HDMI powering my soundbar. So I just turn the soundbar down to 0, turn on this little DAC and grab my headphones. It has good sound with good volume control…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Short instructions

courting! Keep using my speakers!

My Sony Bravia TV has poop. I've used it with a Bose 3-2-1 II which has never been amazing but always met my needs (DVD stopped playing videos) but the audio was ok. When I got my new TV I called Bose and they said I could only trade it in for a newer model with newer TV inputs at a reduced price. Aaaah! 1500 dollars?!? I know there are cheaper options but I'm not happy with my current sound. One thing breaks and the rest becomes obsolete?!? So to be honest I don't update technical stuff more…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
