We need something to increase the volume on our cordless home phone. This device does its job well, but is inexpensive. Place your phone on the device and it increases the phone volume so 2 people can hear it easily. You only need to move the phone a little to avoid noise. Goodbye!

I saw that someone has a "big" version of this (didn't check the size when ordering. The top of this thing is about the size of a cell phone. and really makes a difference in Hi-Fe playback? No, but if you want everyone in the living room to hear something, it really helps!

I have several of these induction boxes and wanted a smaller one for my bathroom. I need it to be loud enough to hear through the shower and the sound quality is poor as it distorts and the box seems to vibrate too much. I listen to audio books so it's not critical, but I'll buy in a wooden box and hope there's no distortion.

For the money, an excellent device for hands-free calling with several people in the room. The tiny speakers in most phones simply don't have volume boost for comfortable listening. This device solves that problem and does it well. Cannot vouch for accuracy or lack thereof, can be used as an amplifier for music but for amplified voice conversations it is the perfect solution.
