THEY RECORDED ABOUT 8 DEGREES. FRIDGE OR FREEZER TEMPERATURE READINGS ARE NEVER THE SAME, ALL ARE 10 DEGREES DIFFERENT. CALCULATED FOR + OR - 2 DEGREE f SO YOU CAN EXPECT A WORST CASE OF 4 DEGREE DIFFERENCE BUT NOT 8 DEGREE. IN MY FREEZER ONE IS 4 DEGREES, THE OTHER 20 DEGREES. THEY NEVER AGREED WITH A CALIBRATED THERMOMETER.

Needed them as my fridge passed and I had to get another one, the old one had a touch screen on the door so you could see what the fridge and the temperature was Have freezer There wasn't a new one and I have insulin in it and I need to know if the temperature is right so I bought these and they are small enough that I can put one on the door shelf with my insulin and not have to worry about if the temperature is right. Use the second for the freezer with good results.

I love these thermometers so much I ordered SIX of them! Every fridge and freezer MUST have it. I sell high quality free range eggs and state law requires my refrigerators to be above 32 and 40 degrees or below. Not all devices are like that, if the temperature rises or falls below the safety standard, you know about it. I can't do business without them! Bought for freezer use. Two devices placed side by side at room temperature were close to the control thermometer used, but differed by 3 degrees. BUT. After four hours in the freezer one device didn't work at all, just a blank screen. The other unit registered a temperature of -18°F, which was well below the intended lower range limit of -4°F, as well as well below the intended lower range suitable for a freezer. Very dubious accuracy, to say the least.

My fridge is the worst. Food spoils, freezes and never seems to be at a constant temperature. Thermometers arrived and showed less than a degree difference between the two, which is good enough for me. I put one on the top shelf and one on the bottom shelf. Bought these thermometers for a small fridge in a van. The on/off switch did not work properly. It either stayed on when "off" was pressed, or it went off when "on" was pressed. Or swiping your finger across the screen turns it on or off as well. For this reason the first set was returned. A replacement kit arrived with the same issues and the product was returned a second time. Also, the thermometers arrived in "on" mode, so not sure how much battery life is left.
