Two packs are ideal: one for the fridge, the other for the freezer. This is good value for money and allows me to independently monitor that my fridge is working properly. It is important to me to have an independent point of reference. I have a GE French door refrigerator, which was not without its problems. The evaporator fan had to be replaced twice and the circuit board once. The fresh food section was warmer than usual with every issue, but I wasn't able to test it. The PCB issue was particularly problematic as it told me the temperature was within the acceptable range, but it clearly wasn't. Buy them and be calm.
