Bought two sets of kitchen towels and one set of kitchen towels from this company and laundered (as recommended). Lots of shrinkage and just terrible quality. Completely useless.

The waffle weave makes these towels look a little thicker than they actually are, but they are quite thin. I washed and tumble dried them but didn't follow the care instructions for washing in cold water. They've shrunk, and while I thought a tighter weave would make them a little thicker, they didn't. I assume these recycled towels are made from factory waste, not recycled clothing. They are exactly the same color as the fabric blankets used to wrap bulky furniture. The towels say "machine wash cold, tumble dry low" but I washed them hot and dried them (because kitchen towels) and they turned into a crumpled mess. Not uncommon for waffle weave towels. I didn't photograph the towels when they arrived but they were nice and fresh. Then I washed them according to the instructions and the picture shows that the real towel looks very different. The left one was lightly ironed. They still weren't as flimsy and starched as they came, but if you want them to look like this you don't need to iron too much.
