I finished this and framed it. It's absolutely beautiful! I promise you that embroidery is a pleasure and the result is a beautifully finished image.

Such a beautiful picture would have been. Unfortunately, the threads are tied in bundles that the cross-stitch is designed to separate and distinguish which color is which. Also, the thread turns out to be of lower quality than the respected DMC floss, which the instructions say bleeds. I love cross stitch as an art but please how much trouble would it be for Dimensions to sort the thread by number. . What will happen next, an empty table for an embroiderer to draw a pattern? I bought and completed this project about 10 years ago. I'm an artist but I don't sew so this was new to me. However, I don't remember any issues with yarn quality or color matching, but that WAS quite a while ago. It's safe to say that the quality issues weren't catastrophic, at least.
