🐓 Dimensions Crafts Rooster On Black Crewel Kit 11"x14" - Stitched in Wool & Thread 1543, Premium Quality 11 x 14 Inch Embroidery Project Review

Just learning to crochet. I've started, but I'm far from finished. It's really not for a beginner. It is very sweet. I might give it up and try a simple one to learn the stitches.

Instructions are clear and easy to understand, yarn and thread are color coordinated. The only difficulty I have is a personal vision issue as I have some difficulty with black backgrounds but I don't think this folk art painting will work with any other color. I have bought Dimensions products for many years and have always been satisfied.

I like how this work looks when it's finished, but I'll never finish it. I finished a flower and a half and just gave up. The main problem: the color used to paint the pattern does not allow me to place the needle in the right place. You can't pierce this color with a needle, you have to bypass it, which turns out to be very difficult and takes all the fun out of editing.
