I really like the picture and it has everything you need to embroider except the hoop. It's a bit difficult to read because there are so many different color combinations to create shadows etc. but overall I'm very happy with this one. But I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. It is so detailed that a beginner might get frustrated. Once you start this simple shape it will take a long time to complete. This is a great winter hobby.

I enjoy working on this project but future buyers are strongly advised to match the included filament with DMC or another brand and purchase extra. I realized pretty early on that I ran out of the filament that came with the kit - maybe I laid out too much, but I think you should be able to finish most of the project before additional materials are needed . I tried to contact the company to find out how to order more but was unsuccessful - the website is not very user friendly for this purpose.

This design only requires cross stitches, half stitches, reverse stitches and two french knots (which took me an hour to figure out) and I was surprised I didn't run out of thread even after making many small mistakes. This was my last survival project of 2020! It turned out absolutely beautiful. The colors are very bright. You will not be disappointed! Tips: While I wouldn't call this a beginner's project, the larger stitch size and organization of the sets make it pretty easy. Just be prepared to put in some time as this is a bigger project. It took 8 months to complete. I love that these kits have everything you need to complete it (I have two). I had enough rope for what I needed. The fabric is a bit stiff but I rinsed it with water, let it dry and it became soft. I also apply some glue around the edges to prevent fraying. When I was finished I ironed it and smoothed out the creases from using the embroidery hoop. The pattern is two sides long, which is a bit annoying when working in the middle because you have to constantly line
