I put mine in my granddaughter's tree house a while ago. First I placed the wire exactly where I wanted it. Then I fixed it well. Then I screwed in 60 pears. So NO BREAKDOWN! All lit up as expected and now I'm hoping it will be dark soon to show them off! If anything negative happens, I'll let you know. Everything else is good!

I had to buy another 100ft cord just to get replacement bulbs and I've looked through them all. A day later, a new one comes out due to condensation in the balls. They're filled with air, and if you live in an area like Florida with high humidity and temperature swings, that naturally collects inside.
