The lamp is quite small and thin. It provides sufficient light, but does not "dazzle" when looking directly into it. It is ideal for a lamp in the hallway. Make sure you compare the lamp base size to your fixture.

October 30th I put four of these bulbs in the same skylight; until 2 Nov one has already burned down; On November 6, the second lightbulb burned out. That's 50% in just eight days. Also, they mostly turn black when they blow.

These are excellent bulbs for some of our lights, the frosted glass reduces glare and the torch is perfect for our lights. They are also dimmable, which is important to note if you have a dimmable fixture. A very happy customer.

All the bad reviews I read about it have come true. I liked that they were exactly what I was looking for so I bought them anyway. In less than 2 weeks, 3 exploded, 2 of which were blackened and one shattered; just popped out, literally. I already passed 75% of the box in 2 weeks. Take the time to go to the store, it will be worth it.

So it's very hard to find decorative 60W lightbulbs! So I was very happy to see that Goodbulb was offering them. I have ordered other Goodbulb products before so I knew they would be of good quality. A note, however: these lamps are covered with an impact-resistant plastic film. This appears to prevent glass splinters from getting into the cooking areas if the bulb breaks. I have two very expensive antique Stiffel lamps that have burned out for over 10 years. I've bought other bulbs over the years but they were too bright or too transparent, looked too cheap or we didn't have a flame shape. Before I gave up and donated the lamps, I decided to give Revain a try. I found these bulbs and they looked like the ones from the lamp. These lamps and this company have everything to love and nothing to dislike. The bulbs themselves arrived in excellent condition, not broken or dented, packaged and packaged very well. They produce a very bright but soft golden light that is not at all glaring and resembles a soft incandescent light bulb despite being long lasting, energy efficient LEDs.
