Very cool shape. It's on the larger side and it's made pretty well. The shape is firm and should hold up for a while. It's easy to use, you pour everything in the skull, leave it, open the mold and you have the skull. I wanted a larger skull shape and this fits right in. That's about 1/2 the size of a real skull. If you're looking for something similar, you'll do a lot worse. I love it and will benefit a lot from it.

I used plaster for this mold but you can also use resin, wax or chocolate. It took 2 cups of mixed gypsum plaster to fill the mold. The mold separated the plaster very well, but I had to remove the mold upside down. Luckily, the mold is thick, springs back quickly, and is fully recyclable. I would probably freeze candles or chocolate before attempting to sculpt the skull. Good price and decent mold thickness.

Media could not be loaded. I am familiar with a wide variety of silicone molds and use them every day. This is a large skull mold making a skull approximately 4 1/2 inches long, 3 inches high and 2 1/2 inches in diameter. I used this mold to make Halloween skull candles. There is already a small wick spot where you put the wick in the mold if you want to use it for a candle. Silicone is rigid and somewhat inflexible. I'm new to resin and mostly make knick knacks just for fun. So I was very curious to see how my first attempt at using this form turned out.
