Unreliable unfortunately

This is already the second stitch. The first worked without any problems. However, the one I got didn't work with random flicker. It looks like the RJ11 input (the part that connects to the radar) wasn't crimped properly. If you see the attached image, I got a clear voltage reading right in front of the RJ11 head, but the device wouldn't turn on. I ended up cutting the end of the wire that came with the unit, snipping the end of that wire and crimping the power/ground appropriately. This works…

Do not use with R3.

I read the reviews and was hoping it would work for the R3 as well as others. At first it seems to work, the radar turns on normally, but I kept getting weird anomalies. Constant false laser alerts at near perfectly timed intervals and even turning the radar off and on again. I plugged it back into the car using the portable cable that came with it and the problems were gone immediately. It appears to have the same 4 pins but doesn't sit as well in the radar as the portable cable that comes…

The ad is a small fake. The product works and is amazing, but it needs to be paired with an optional accessory. The kit includes a connector that is included with the radar detector and a wire that runs from the connector to an exposed power and ground wire, and a built-in fuse. However, to install this in your car, you need something more. What you need to do is buy a car fuse adapter and connect the fuse adapter to the internal fuse box in the car, then solder or crimp the fuse adapter to the
