A lovely notebook to entertain your little ones and to develop and improve writing skills. Although I wouldn't say this is calligraphy - I didn't see any 'fancy' types of writing techniques in the book. They seemed pretty easy. My grandson enjoys practicing handwriting with it. Who doesn't love a disappearing pen? I like that the letter shapes are a good size for practice. The book contains fun tasks for him to practice on, as well as colorful and captivating pictures. It's nice that it's reusable, although he loses interest after flipping through the same page more than twice, so in that sense it's not much better than a paper book unless you have multiple kids to use.
