I have already taken the remote and key to the locksmith and he cut the key and programmed it and the remote. It took him about 20 minutes to do the job. both are working now. I use it on a 2014 Buick Enclave.

My local store had an $80 key fob, for $14.99 I was able to wait 2 days and it worked great. Easy setting. I had to reprogram another key fob I had but that was easy too. I also found out that as a result of this purchase my previous car has an auto start which is invaluable in Montana!

I bought a 2010 Acadia that only came with a remote control. Local car dealerships had $50 remotes. It was a fraction of the cost and easy to program with the instructions you got on their website. I am very satisfied with the remote control and will buy again from this seller.

I have previously bought these key fobs for all my cars and have never had a problem. I bought two of these for my traverse and none lasted more than a year, the last one lasted a week before it stopped working. My originals still work, so I'll just rebuild them by replacing the worn knobs instead of buying another cheap Chinese knockoff.

So I programmed the remote control in about 60 seconds! I took the key from Lowe but they didn't cut it as it has a chip. So took it to a Chevrolet dealer and they cut it for $15! Said if I bought a key from them it would be $35 for the key plus $15 for cutting and programming. To program the key, all you have to do is put it in the ignition and turn it forward (without actually starting the car), leave everything on, then turn it off and pull it out of the ignition!

The price is reasonable to buy but as my car was 2016 I had to take it to a locksmith to cut the blank and program the key they dem Recommend locksmith or dealer do. The total cost of programming and key cutting cost me $70 from a locksmith, which I think is probably less than the dealership.
