Magical Disney Fairies CD Player Boombox: Enchanting Tunes for Kids! Review

I've seen the experience of the previous two posts and just wanted to share mine. My daughter got this for Christmas two years ago and it still looks and works great. The speakers are ok, the sound is good at low to medium volume.

Because this CD player is designed to hold the CD vertically in the player, it makes a horrible scratching noise when playing CDs. If he plays CDs at all. I have to put it horizontally so it plays music! Loss of money, so disappointed!

I bought this from Toys R US and my daughter loved this CD player until a month later it started playing her CDs with a high pitched squeak. It was getting worse and worse. The player looks great, but the quality isn't that great. I would suggest buying one that holds CDs horizontally.

This is a piece of junk. The music sounds tinny because the speakers are of poor quality. Three weeks after I bought it for my daughter, the CD player just stopped working. Disney customer service is terrible. Can't get a live staff member on the phone and they want the original receipt from the store I bought them from for a refund. I have a box with a barcode confirming the purchase and it wasn't enough to get a refund! Don't buy that, stick with a more respected brand like Sony.

This is a good boombox for preschoolers. It's really colorful and attractive. Suitable for any Fairy, Tinkerbell or Disney fan. I gave four stars because it doesn't have the best sound quality, but that's not a problem for me. This is in line with my expectations as I am not looking for a BOSE radio for my preschoolers. I have a daughter and she loves Tinkerbell! I thought it would be a great gift for her. My mother-in-law bought it a year ago and it stopped working 6 months after receiving it.
