After reading several other product reviews about screen resolution issues when connecting an old output monitor to my Mac Air, I was hesitant to buy an adapter. This one works great. No problems, no glitches on the screen. Well done. Now I like to use dual screens. Highly recommended.

I read a lot of reviews about it before buying to make sure you can use both ports to expand to two monitors at the same time. I have found that this is not the case. Luckily I have a separate HDMI so I can use this unit for VGA only and still get the extension I want. So yeah, it works great, but I don't like it when commenters mislead you. It seems some people don't know the difference between screen extension and screen mirroring.

I bought this for my 2017 MacBook Air with Thunderbolt 2. I can connect my VGA monitors to it, mirror my laptop display/monitor and use it just like my laptop display.
