Description of 🍃 Aksuaple Eco-Fil Disposable Tea Filter Bags, Made from Wood Pulp, Biodegradable and Compostable, Unbleached Empty Tea Infuser Sachets with Drawstring, 100 Pack (3.2" x 4.0")

✔【Eco-Friendly Material】 The UV sterilized tea bags are made of wood pulp paper, sealed by heat press, no glue, odorless, biodegradable & compostable. ✔【Excellent Permeability】 No tea leaf particulates floating out through the bag while allowing the tea to steep perfectly. ✔【Sturdy to Cook】 The tea bags wouldn’t fall apart, when be used to brew coffee or tea in microwave oven or in pressure cooker. ✔【Mess-Free】 No need to clean up, and brewing becomes much easier, better than a metal infuser. ✔【Multiple Usages】 The tea bags are often used for bath soaks, soup spices, foot-bath, desiccant storage, camphor ball storage and so on. Can also be used to fill carbon to keep the water in the tank clean.

Inconspicuous plastic bag with tea bags

The tea bags are in an inconspicuous plastic packaging with the label "Made in China". No proof of what they are made of other than the description on the website. I can't use them without knowing what they're made of and I definitely don't steep my organic tea in them.

Pros
  • That's amazing
Cons
  • Reliability

Thick paper suitable for the kitchen and dining room

The tea bag itself is quite well made. It is thick enough that the pouch will not unravel or tear. However, it can be too thick as it brews a mediocre cup of tea with less flavor than if you were using a loose leaf brewer. I got them for my job where making an entire tea set would be difficult. I'm so happy with it that I don't want to go through the hassle of sending it back.

A little strange but not bad

I switched to this bag when my previous supplier stopped selling disposable bags. These bags are a little larger than I need, but not enough to make them unusable. This bag has a very slight bad taste that I didn't have with my previous bag. This can be explained by using pulp, but this is just a guess. Again, it's not noticeable enough to render the bag unusable. But if I could find a similar product without the pulp, I would give it a try. Another concern. These bags are made in China. I wish

Reliable and easy to use

They are great for quick loose tea brewing. We have wire strainers for loose tea, but tea leaves get caught in them and we can only brew two cups at a time. I have bags when guests arrive or when I'm in a hurry. The bags can hold enough tea for multiple cups, but I like that they are big enough to fit the tea in the hole without making a mess. I haven't had any issues with bags tearing or falling apart. We've used about 50 already and they've all been great. It's not exactly a zero-waste…

The perfect product with many uses!

These tea bags are perfect. I've tried others and this is by far my favorite! They are durable and easily leak your tea. The tip is light and even if I pull hard it will never break! I use them for burlap seasoning in my soups, stews, etc. For everything from bay leaves to peppercorns. They are easy to take out of the pan! You can put these scented balls in, put them in your shoes and hang them on hangers when storing old clothes and shoes. They can be used in every way aside from tea and I…

I was nervous about trying them out.

Other reviews say (about the larger packaging of this product) that it falls apart quickly in the water. I brew large batches of tea and leave the tea bags in the water overnight. To date, not a single bag has ruptured prematurely. After about 24 hours in the water, the bags will soften, yes. But they overcome a long cliff without scattering leaves. I also like that the pockets feel unfinished (I'm not sure). I don't feel any plastic residue inside or outside of the bags. This was very…

Say goodbye to metal tea infusers or strainers, but stay sustainable

As a lifelong tea lover, I prefer loose tea to pre-packaged tea bags. Over the years I've tried different shapes and sizes of metal tea balls, but I've never been satisfied - they were too small, crumbled in the water, or didn't let enough water through to brew the tea properly. I finally decided to switch to fillable bags even though I hated waste. Before buying I tried different brands. This is my absolute favourite, unbeatable. I love strong tea and these tea bags have plenty of room and no…
