I love making my own tea blends for home remedies. I could get a tea ball, but bringing a tea ball to work is another item I have to carry to and from work. The tea bags are perfect for my needs.

I put dried spices in a bag and tried to cook in a pan with olive oil (pour oil with spices). The filter bag melted, stuck to the pan like plastic and had to be scrubbed with a 3M sponge to remove. Good for hot water or potpourri. Not for cooking.

These are really good tea bags. They are roomy and soft, not hard like paper bags. They effectively hold all types of teas and concoctions, from jasmine green pearls to crushed sawdust licorice root. Just don't forget to tie them! You will like them!

This is amazing! They not only withstand hot water very well, but also stress. I used one to store all the bath soap bars that are too small to use easily but too big to throw away. It lasted about a month and is now used for vigorous hand washing and gives a good lather. They also go well with tea.

I threw away those tea bags. Very strange stuff. The first time I encountered tea that could not be broken. I also recently learned that it is made in China. I did not see the answer to the question "Where the product is made" before ordering. I noticed someone saying the product was "polyethylene or polypropylene". I'm not a scientist, but I tried burning a tea bag and it melted like plastic. I don't know what else to say.

I would love to love it. And I'll use them until they're gone. It wasn't clear in the listing that they wouldn't break. I had paper and they went straight to the composter. The bin was full so I put one in the chute and the bag didn't tear meaning it wouldn't go into the composter. The pouches hold plenty of tea and the drawstring closes well. Just disappointed they don't break. Next time I will definitely order paper.
