So far so good!: Manifolds & Parts

I have read many reviews. A little good. Some aren't that good. One mistake people might run into is the timing of a new distribution. The distribution must be replaced in the same position where the old one was. Then tweet a little. You can mark the new one with a pen to make sure the position is the same before putting it on. If you're good enough you can take your time manually, but you can buy a sync light.

Fitted in my 1999 Nissan Pathfinder and worked as expected. Thank you!

I'm sure the hardest part of the installation was getting the engine to bottom dead center alone. Lots of ups and downs until you have the money. I noted the position of the rotor and put a new one in after aligning the marks with it. After several attempts everything worked. I screwed it on, put the lid on and threw the wires out of the old lid. Then she immediately caught fire! Thank you for an inexpensive replacement part for my old truck!

Pay attention to tightness

So exchanged the distributor on Monday, drove to the gym and back again. I was driving to work on Tuesday morning and after about 3 blocks my car misfires and then stalls in the middle of the street. After 4.5 hours of headaches, I was so pissed that I ripped the piece apart, only to quickly find that that little set screw was missing. I pulled the distributor out and flipped it over when the bolt and lock washer fell out. This means that the bolt was not properly tightened at the FACTORY. Put…

Bad Products - Manifolds

I have purchased a manifold from this supplier. A week after purchase, the dispenser stopped working. I contacted the seller and he sent me a new dealer. Five months later the same problem appeared. The product is under warranty, but to get a new distro I have to send the broken distro back and wait for a replacement. For a mechanic this is unacceptable and expensive as I have to work on my client's car multiple times to get the job done. (hoping the distributor will hold). I'm a mechanic and I

Worked about a month.

I bought this to replace my '96 Pathfinder dispenser that would not start in wet or rainy weather. It worked great for about a month and this morning I was driving through Hardy for breakfast and when I pulled up to the window the engine just died like I'd turned the ignition off. It doesn't start. Hardee employees helped push him out of their driveway. I called the mechanic who installed the distributor and he said the spark plugs were not getting a spark. Luckily I still had the original…
