works perfectly. - Hose Fittings

I didn't know quick disconnect technology had changed. I'm old, it took me a few times to realize how easy and much better the fittings work. I will order Dixon again.

Pros
  • 1/4" Air Chief Industrial replacement quick disconnect male with 3/8" ID barbed hose end
Cons
  • Requires female

Good quality! good for hose fittings

Appears to be of high quality and no corrosion or other signs of wear after using several of these for several months. One is sold with a 5/16" hose connector, 3/8" is a little too big and 1/4" is too small.

Pros
  • Brass for corrosion resistance, high temperature ductility and low magnetic permeability
Cons
  • Easily torn

Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Plumbing Hose Repair

Used at the end of a length of air compressor hose I cut off. Place it there and then slip the tie around it. Seems to be holding up great. Didn't even need a hose clamp maybe since it was so tight.

Pros
  • Interchangeable with MIL-C-4109F/AA-59439 specifications for quick disconnects for hose and portable pneumatic tools, but not for water or liquids, up to a maximum working pressure of 232 psi. inches (16 bar). )
Cons
  • Don't remind me
