They are what they seem

I was a little concerned that these rolls would not be as full as the photos show, especially at this price point. I was expecting pretty much a small amount of duct tape per roll like you see in big bullock stores. The tape was delivered today and I was pleasantly surprised by the very full rolls just like the photos. The tape is the same as any other teflon tape I've ever used but at a great price.

Works. It's cheap and it does the job right. For most non-plumbers, you'll probably buy this for odd jobs and have the duct tape in your toolbox for the rest of your life. This material is very thin and provides tightness of the thread. When installing a new fixture, be sure to read the owner's manual to see how many coats are recommended. In this case more is not always better, from what I've seen it's best to wrap 2 or 3 times. good sealing when tightening the connection. You'll know if youโ€ฆ

I should have tried this a long time ago!

Yesโ€ฆthere is a difference in tape but I had to be sure. I figured whatever brand or gauge I bought, just winding more threads would do the trick. I'm not a plumber but I buy houses, live in them for 2 years, make any necessary repairs/improvements and then see from there. It seems like every house needed a major plumbing job, so I just bought the cheapest 10-pack of Teflon tape I could find and kept wrapping the tape until the leak stopped...or replaced the fittings. The extra thickness of this
