Use 1/2 inch tape instead

Works well. The first time I wrapped it around the threads only 3 times and a drop flowed out every 5-7 seconds. The next time I wrapped it 6 times and had a perfect fit without a single drop coming out. The tape can be torn by hand. Remember to slide the tape around the threads with your thumb before attempting to connect the shower head. Also, for best results, clean the threads on the pipe of any previous residue before applying the tape. My only concern is that I bought it because it was…

Pros
  • colored teflon tape
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I don't like that everything is plastic. I wouldn't buy it if I knew how cheap and tasteless this shower head is. Waterpik used to be a good brand, but now it's not! To install: You must use tape on ALL connections. Even if the manual doesn't explicitly use it. It flows like crazy when you don't. You cannot hand tighten it enough to make a seal without it. You also need to use a crescent wrench to tighten all the nuts or it will leak. Use a cloth between the wrench head and the nut as the…

Pros
  • 520" long, 3/4" wide and 3.5 mil thick for multiple use. Thickness: 0.09mm
Cons
  • Only available in white

Stops leaks, easy to use!

This is plumbing tape, not much to say. and the screw on the nozzle)? Just unscrew what it is. Wrap the outside of the tube (with the ribs for screwing on the nozzle) exactly where you need to screw on the nozzle, wrap it a few times to make sure you get the entire ribbed part (don't get mad and do it thick) just enough to cover it, tear off the end, screw back the nozzle. Lots of instructions for a very simple application. No household should have a role like this for leaks, spares, etc. And…

Pros
  • For wrapping pipe threads to make air and watertight connections
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other hooks
