L298N as main chip,low heat,outstanding anti-interference performance. High working power to 46v,large current can reach 3A MAX and continue current is 2A, power to 25w. Can drive one 2-phase stepper motor, one 4-phase stepper motor or two DC motors. Built-in 78M05,get power from drive power,however, when drive power over12V, please use the external 5v power as power supply. Large capacity filter capacitance,afterflow protection diode, more stable and reliable.

Excellent unit. in Computer components

My first H-bridge. Little did I know that this device can also power the Arduino without having to power the Arduino with an additional power supply.

Excellent and surprisingly cheap.

Great module. Standard L298N with regular heatsink and useful pins. See the L298N datasheet for more information. Requires 4-6 pins on your microcontroller, 2 pin differential is required to control PWM speed. The datasheet says Vs for motors should be 2.5V higher than Vin for signals, but I was able to get it working with a 5V signal and a 6V supply. Doesn't have a current measurement.

Easy to use and you get all the components you need.

Easy to use and the heatsink allows you to control a few amps of current. I ran at 300mA for several hours and the heatsink barely got hot.

Totally happy to help my 7 year old build his first.

Totally happy to have helped my 7 year old son build his first robot. Couldn't figure out why the PWM speed control wasn't working even with the ENA and ENB jumpers disabled, and finally figured out I had to change the digital entry in the Arduino sketch to an analog entry for these OUTPUTS.
