A good simple harness connector for non-standard installations. Had to be added to main power harness as it only has main power and ground. I wish it was easier to find the pins needed for this.

This wiring harness has proved very useful when hooking up a stereo. Someone installed a third party radio and messed it up so badly that the radio stopped working and the wiring was messed up. This wiring harness has allowed me to organize the wiring and if I need to replace the radio in the future I can just unplug it from here.

Connect to the cable adapter instead of your stereo's wiring harness. It allows you to buy plug and play wire harnesses, which you can find by searching "Sony ISO Harness", "Pioneer ISO Wire Harness", etc. It would be 5 stars if it had a purple return wire with a white stripe on pin 3 of the power connector as allowed by the ISO connector standard.

Worked for my Jensen JDH1130. Just ignore the labels on the wires as the Jensen device is different. One star off because the insulation melted under my heat gun when shrinking. They could use better insulation. I emailed Jensen the part number for the correct belt and they said buy B07CH17D9N. This universal worked well.

The wires are not labeled and have no wiring diagram but standard colors are used so this was not a problem. If you're a bit color blind like me, you won't be able to tell the difference between the purple, gray, and green wires. I just hooked it up to the radio wiring harness and followed the wiring diagram for the radio.

It may not be a big deal for such a short wire, but the pins on this versatile device are copper. For those of us who have done countless installations, it comes as a big surprise what comes with the factory, which is mostly aluminum. Copper ensures you keep the resistance in ohms and get a lot more power and line performance. From now on I will use this provider for these adapters.

Both the pins and the plastic socket blocks seem a little weaker than they should be. Also make sure that the color coding of the battery charge and switching capacity matches the positions. I used this adapter along with a special BMW wire harness adapter to assemble a complete cable. The colors matched, I plugged it in and found the two +12V pins swapped. Maybe it was one or the other set. In any case, check the contacts, not just the colors. And the plugs are not tight, hence 3 stars.
