The cookie jar is smaller than I expected but looks very pretty on the counter. Other reviews said it holds up to 2 dozen cookies, I couldn't fit 2 dozen homemade cookies in a cookie jar. Cookies are not stored on our premises for too long, so they work for us.

Only give it 3 stars because it's small, pewter colored, nothing fancy and a high price for what it is? it's in store! 100% seals well and keeps treats fresh. The price and slow shipping keeps it at 3 stars!

We liked it but now the lettering is smudged and disappearing after just a few months of purchase. We didn't put next to water, heat or chemicals. Our hands did it. When I tried to wipe it clean it got worse! Cheaply made for the money spent! That's a pity too, because we bought it because of this formulation!

Looks really good. I was expecting more when I ordered it but when it arrived it just felt cheap. The rubber seal was a real problem for me because sometimes the suction is so strong you can almost throw it across the room to get the lid off. And because it's so cheap and thin, you feel like you're going to crush it trying to hold it. I gave it to some of our relatives and it looked great on their new kitchen countertops. Ordered for my wife. When we received it we were surprised at how small it is compared to what it looked like in the photo.
