DMI Sports Brigadier Bristle Dartboard Review

Very disappointed with this dartboard. Several deep cracks all over the plate. Cables protrude in some places. Not the advertised board. Better to spend the extra $20 and get something good.

The only problem I had with this board was that it didn't say Brigadier. However, that doesn't really bother me. Bought this for a holiday home to throw away friends' darts. Great board, no clamps, flimsy wires. If only he could throw darts for me now!

The board was poorly packaged (just layed in a flat box) and arrived with two dents on the back of the outer metal ring but that doesn't affect the playing surface so I decided to keep it for myself. A small area at 15 had shorter, uneven bristles that stuck together (glue?) that I had to break by poking them with the tip of an arrow, but the arrows seem to hold up well, just a minor cosmetic defect . Lesson Learned: Beware of Sellers Using Stock Photos. The picture is misleading and gave me expectations that were not met. A product like this is more decoration than function and if I had known this was not the board I was going to get I would have bought a completely different board. The one I have is either a bootleg or a very old version. It doesn't say "Brigadier" downstairs, it's completely empty, dirty and cheap. When the board arrived it looked a bit dry (compared to our boards and bar) and I was curious what the MGF date was. But the board plays well and proves to be durable. The insertion holes are initially visible, but if the board breaks the holes will heal and provide the smooth cork feel you see on professional boards. It's entirely possible that this is the best bang for your buck. My 6 and 8 year olds have raced this board - and their kid throws are very solid and difficult to screw up. My…
