Basically you are paying for an air filter that is well designed but it comes with no instructions and 2 brackets that nothing connects to the pipe ie no hose connection to connect to the valve cover. Barely clears the hood

Too short. It hits the hood and bends the throttle body rubber. This will illuminate your check engine light, as the air intake doesn't have a cutout for the standard gauge, all other air intakes I've bought had these. If you're thinking of buying this, don't. Universal on Adv Auto really works.

Sounds great but I found it very difficult to install as it protrudes beyond the closed bonnet when installed. Had to use gorilla tape to secure it. Also there is no hole for the temperature sensor. The supplied hose did not fit into the crankcase opening. I had a vacuum leak after installation.

had to cut an inch with a hacksaw and drilled a hole for the sensor, used a high temp gasket and just bought a new sensor so I'm not taking a chance on ruining the old one, If it does not work. I've got the '05 Civic lx surprisingly loud and just what I wanted can still drive quietly at low revs but the thing really needs to be modified but it's cheap enough and feels stiff after a few hours of abuse so I estimate what it costs, 40 that I spent
