Very dissatisfied with the best parts

Very poor workmanship on this assembly, I'm so glad I'm a mechanic working in a hoist workshop, it was very annoying to install this converter assembly on one Two piece car design - poor design, things don't add up and the next day I had an exhaust leak at the manifold at the flange where it meets the catalytic converter.

Wrong Y-pipe if you have 6 speed.

When I placed my order I stated it was a 2009 Tahoe LTZ. The picture didn't look right, but I didn't know why. When I received it it was obvious it wouldn't snap so I wisely took it to a professional. He cut it, welded additional material and inserted it. I later thought what was wrong and found that this was designed for the previous years 4L60 or 4L80 transmissions and not the 6L80 used since 2009. All the extra work cost me an extra $200, but at least I made it on time.

So far so good, best on catalytic converters

08 Silverado 1500 5.3 4x4 Seen a lot of bad reviews. So far, so good. Fits perfectly, screws are ok, all required seals. No screws. If you leave all the regular screws. However, there are only holes in the tail section, and the original has pressed-in bolts, so you'll probably need some for that. A small note on removal and installation. Don't put anything in the new one until it's installed. Slide all fasteners into place before tightening. I would screw in the center cross pipe first, thenโ€ฆ

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! THIS IS NOT AN OEM SPECIFICATION!

I was attracted by the price of this item and the claim that it is an OEM specification and meets the vehicle's EMC. It is not so! About 5 months after installation, EMC issued code "P0420 and P0430"! I took my truck back to the shop where they installed the Y-pipe! They said the pipe was installed as per the manufacturer's recommendation! I had them check the O2 sensors which were fine, the throttle position sensor was replaced, vacuum leaks found on the aisle side exhaust manifold and thenโ€ฆ
