Not nearly compatible with 98 TJ with 4.0. I had to cut off my old radiator brackets and then drill them out to mount this radiator. Then the fan cover does not fit because the heat sink is too thick. It would be nice if you knew how to make mods or had the time to make them fit. In addition, the lid deviates from the standard size. Don't waste your money on a so-called racing cooler.

A good cooler, but it doesn't fit without special modifications. The holes in the original brackets that have to be removed from the old radiator to be used on this new one don't even come close to matching the holes in this new radiator. Also, the lower hose nipple is smaller than the stock one, so you'll either have to buy a different lower radiator hose with different diameters on each end, or replace the clamp with a threaded one and tighten.
