It works for descent lol!

I weigh 190 pounds and it survived the season at Snow Summit and Snow Valley. Let's see how he holds up at Skypark until the end of the year.

Pros
  • Rear shock absorber
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Big shock or mo ey.

Good shock absorber for the money. The remote control is a little less smooth and the hit isn't as refined as more expensive branded shockers. Overall I'm happy with the performance, especially as this damper is about 25% off a well-known brand.

Won't hold air on suspension

I wanted this shock to be my favorite. At $100 it's a lot cheaper than any major brand, especially with the remote on, and while it held its breath it was quite comfortable. I don't know, maybe I was just unlucky, but both devices I got didn't hold their breath. The first lasted a few short rides, but I went on a longer ride and noticed that the rear end felt a little too plush. Of course, the sag was much less than it should have been. I had to inflate it at least a few times to get throughโ€ฆ

Great Unit best in Rear Shocks

Great product. I bought a used mountain bike and the rear shock was junk. I considered restoring it but couldn't justify the cost of the restoration when a new damper was available for $100. However, I hesitated because it wasn't a brand that I recognized. Then I met a guy skiing at the weekend. I told him about my junk shock and he recommended DNM. So I made a purchase. Installation was easy. I had to shorten the bushings and then everything came together quickly. The remote control lever isโ€ฆ
