No problems so far: drawstrings and posts

I've had this leash for a few months now and it doesn't bother me. I usually have to change my dog's leash at least once a year and I doubt this one will magically outperform this one (I live in a very cold place and the plastic tends to crack in the winter. It's up to the quality I've seen have). in leads at a similar price.

    Good but not great.

I bought this for my dog's tie. I thought it would be perfect because it has 550 pounds of towing capacity. Well the problem is that the cord can have that much pull but the clasp doesn't. My dog broke the clasp with a tug. It didn't even slow down, so I know it didn't put up much resistance. Overall this is a good product but you will probably need to invest in a sturdy shutter.

    2 months and disappointment

Bought this line on 17th September 2021. The clasp on it broke within the first 48 hours. The dog pulled the leash right through him. I pulled the leash back out and tried to attach it to the clasp again, but after two weeks it broke. Then I clamped it off with a copper pipe and after about 6 weeks the line broke. After two fixes and a final shot, the product has held to date, November 24, 2021. Weighing only 45 pounds is hardly worth it for a Beagle.

Couldn't hold our 60 lb dog

This chain advertises 550 lbs of pull. Seems questionable since our 60-pound husky mix broke a clip connection in the backyard of a very small townhouse here in Miami Beach. We bought this as an "emergency" out of network exit. They took him outside for a minute, and after a few moments they saw him walking around the yard. There is absolutely no room for him to accelerate to top speed. It broke without its full pull, not even close. Not a quality purchase.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Slightly wrinkled

    Less than a week

This only lasted a week at my house with my 62lb yellow lab mix/boxer. Running around the yard, she reached the end of the line and almost immediately broke the hook. Luckily, she stopped when she met initial resistance trying to make it to the end. She did not realize that she was completely free and able to flee to the area. The cable itself is pretty solid, but the hook seems to be made out of plastic rather than metal. All in all a waste of my money.
