Protects small dachshunds in the pool. They like to play with us. Perfect for her and all three can swim and play with floats. You don't have to worry about getting too tired.

She is very well made and very cute. I thought this would actually help my daughter's cup swim, but the swim jacket really lacks buoyancy, meaning the dog can't really swim, he still has to paddle really fast to stay afloat, and gets tired. It really doesn't work as well as I expected. A little headrest would be great, but the dog immediately turns his head to the side because it annoys him, so it's useless. Just so you know the dog weighs 4 pounds.

I think if these dog life jackets are going to be sold then more accurate measurements will be needed. I have a Boston Terrier, short and although the girth, length and size of the neck should fit, but the neck and length sank into it and he barely moved! XXS fits my 6lb Chihuahua well. Its floating neck is slightly off-set, but it still looks like it's doing its job (although it hasn't hit the water yet). Worked great on my bulldog, he swam and rode with him all last summer. This allows her to keep her head well above water (although she's a pretty good swimmer for a bull). I have 2 small quirks.
