Works very well on our German shepherd, no more aggressive barking or biting. The only negative is the battery in the collar, it needs to be charged frequently.

As a professional dog trainer, I have used many collars over the years and I find Dogtra products to be the most reliable and consistent. I've bought a few hundred of these over the years and have never had a problem with any of them.

This collar goes well with our Doberman Pinscher. Usually the vibration function works to alert him or remind him. However, sometimes he is a bit stubborn and we have to use static shocks. The shock function stopped working after two years. Now I have to buy another one and at these prices I'm not happy with it! I buy another brand; disappointed by Dogtra.

We don't have a stubborn dog, but we want him to behave off leash. This model was recommended to us by our dog trainer as you can really fine tune the level. Trust me, just a few steps make all the difference. At 20, our big old Bernese Mountain Dog won't hear when his nose is stuck in a pile of goose droppings, but at 23, he won't even touch the tastiest excrement!
